  1. Wow–what a great list of foods. I enjoyed reading your list and your comments. Of the 100 listed, I’ve had only 22. May more to try before I die! By the way, you didn’t grow up on Hostess Fruit Pies. You may have had one occasionally due to your persistence at the grocery store; but, mom never consciously or willingly/on her own and without you or your brother nagging/bought Hostess Fruit Pies. Rumor has it that your mom baked every week and you had homemade goodies all the time (not from the Pillsbury slice and bake variety). You and your bro had tasty, wholesome, homemade treats in your lunch box every week–Don’t you remember the yummy cookies that mom made and you and your brother sold at your lemon aid stand out in front of your house one summer afternoon. All the neighborhood kids lined up for one of your mom’s homemade cookies and a cup of her freshly made lemon aid (from real lemons). Hostess Fruit Pies? NOT!
