I’m salivating for your delicious BBQ free range organic chicken and homemade cherry pie. You make everything sound so mouth-watering good.

May I suggest investing in a cherry pitter, if you don’t already have one. It does save time, but pitting cherries is still slow and messy. Maybe you’ll get a cherry pitter for a birthday present. Love your photos, too. Everything looks so fresh, unlike photos from cooking magazines where the food’s been “made up” to look appealing and mouthwatering good.

I, too, suffer from piecrustaphobia. (Thank god for Pillsbury.) My mother makes the world’s best pie crust (and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise) and I fear I’ll never measure up. But I’m about to try a pat-in-the-pan pie crust recipe. I’ll let you know if it really is the low-pressure solution it promises to be. (Definitely not a low-fat solution though, but hey, it’s PIE after all, for chrissake.)
